To My University Peers

Students, you are dull of mind.
You humbly submit
To diadems of academic
Pomp.  You lack sagacious wit

To rile the uncreative sloth
That sleeps in thoughtless form
Of blackboard commentary.  The cloth
Of pedagogy does not warm;

It chills the soul.  To memorize
In stupor catatonic
Wrongs the mind, anaesthetized
By inculcation's aim mnemonic.
